Working moms and wellness usually don’t go in the same sentence. That’s because Working moms push wellness and self-care the back burner so there is time for careers and family.
When you push your wellness aside 365 days a year, you’re risking the chance of mom burn out setting in plus the onset of health issues like depression. And that’s when you’re no good for your job, family or yourself.
But I think it’s high time that changes. Don’t you?
Last month my company gave a wellness a challenge to employees from ICAS World. They do this from time to time as part of their employee wellness program.
The purpose of the wellness challenge is to become more self aware of your mental and physical health and practice intentional self-care without feeling guilty for doing it.
And after taking this challenge I thought this would make a great challenge for all working moms.

I took 12 of the strategies that inspired me the most and came up with this 12-day challenge for my fellow working mamas.
