Once I had children (3), I cut back to part time and remained at part time for the rest of my career. I worked as a speech pathologist for a school district (primarily) for 30 years. It was great because I had the same vacations as the kids and similar daily hours. Part time worked for me. When I was off work, I only focused on my family and left work completely without any problem!!
