Well that was a quick January, wasn’t it? And boy was it a cold one! Our coldest night was -61º – can you believe that! Thank goodness good ole Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early Spring and I sure hope he’s right, but I digress.
To kick off the new month, I thought I would share the best of Friday Confessions. These are the confessions that most working moms and stay-at-home moms related to.
Confession #7 – I taught my kids how to self-medicate
In week 3, Cori confessed that while working in Corporate America her kids were left to take care of themselves. From learning how to keep the doors locked to teaching her kids how to self-medicate.
I know I can relate to this, can you?
Confession #6 – I secretly love Mondays
My confession is that I secretly love Mondays. Some most, maybe most moms love the weekend. But personally, I love me some Mondays!
Check out the blog post and I’ll explain why. And who knows, maybe you’ll start to love Mondays too. 😊
Confession #5 – I throw away (some) kid party invitations
This one was written by a friend of mine who confessed that she throws away some of the kid party invitations she receives.
If you read the blog post here, you’ll understand why and might even do that yourself!
Confession #1 – I don’t read school newsletters
Yep, this is my confession – I don’t read the school newsletters my kids bring home from school. It’s not that I have no interest in what’s going on, I really am. Read the blog post and you’ll see what I’m talkin’ about!
